Capital: Delestria

          The first and arguably most powerful creation of the Deities. In an effort to create the perfect mortal form of themselves, the race of dragons came into being. They are strong, powerful, and intelligent, with the ability to fly and breath elements. Growing to sizes rivaling mountains, the great beings were equal to Deities in almost every way. Their only weakness was the lack of a pure magical energy of their own. They were created without the ability to use magic so that they would never be able to challenge the power of the Deities.

          Though the dragons mostly tend to keep to themselves, there are special exceptions wherein some dragons will support and visit other races. Otherwise, dragon sightings in Deivalia are quite rare. The dragons’ land, Delestria, is home to about 300-400 dragons of the world at any one given time. Delestria is located in an unknown place to the world, above the clouds in a difficult place to reach.

          Dragons and elves were created by the Deities, and the dragons were jealous with the power of the Deities. Wishing to create their own race of beings, the dragons attempted to harness magic, failing and accidentally creating the abominable Sauzile. As punishment for creating this atrocity, the Deities cursed the dragons. After a few hundred years of being cursed, the dragons asked for forgiveness but were refused. In anger, the dragons revolted, waging a war against the Deities that nearly destroyed both races. Over the past few hundred years, dragons have slowly regained some strength and power, but nothing close to their former power.

          Originally not magical creatures, one dragon captured a Deity a long time ago, trying to free his race from the curse. While "interrogating" the Deity, the dragon realizes he can access the power of the Deities using their language and the essence stones that channel magic energy. From this discovery, dragons learned how to use magic.
